Material: ceramic and bamboo wood.
Stoneware is fired at extremely high temperatures. The result is a much harder ceramic, resistant to thermal shock and durable. Additionally, because it is fired at a temperature over 1.200ºC, the material is practically impermeable.
Bamboo wood is a great ally in the kitchen due to its sustainability, low porosity, and antibacterial properties.
At KUOKO we try to take maximum care of the environment. The product will arrive packaged without any plastic in a recycled cardboard box. Help us and the environment and make sure you recycle to give our packaging another life!
Keep in mind that this product has a silicone ring on the lid, suitable for contact with food, in order to achieve a tighter seal, reduce the amount of air that goes in and out of the jar and thus achieve greater preservation of the foods.
These utensils, as long as they are well cared for, are for life but, if you want to get rid of them, take them to your nearest green point and give the material another life! Wash before use.
The jar is dishwasher safe but it is recommended to wash the wooden lid by hand with warm water and a soft soapy sponge. Washing the wooden top in the dishwasher deteriorates the quality of the material.
It is not necessary to dry immediately. It can be left to air dry without any problem, but we recommend storing the product when it is completely dry.
The lid cannot be put in the microwave or oven. The canister is fit for microwave and oven up to a temperature of 230ºC.
