What is the material of this Kuoko anthracite casserole?

The raw material for flame-safe stoneware has a special formula and is fired at extremely high temperatures. The result is a much harder ceramic, resistant to thermal shock and durable. Which makes it an ideal material to use in the kitchen.
Additionally, because it is fired at a temperature over 1.200ºC, the material is practically impermeable.

At KUOKO we try to take maximum care of the environment. The product will arrive packaged without any plastic in a recycled cardboard box and with 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable packaging chips that dissolve in water. Help us and the environment and make sure you recycle to give our packaging another life!

These utensils, as long as they are well cared for, are for life but, if you want to get rid of them, take them to your nearest green point and give the material another life!

KUOKO products are carefully manufactured and controlled to avoid any damage. In any case, they have a 2- year guarantee that covers possible manufacturing and/or material defects as long as the product is used under normal conditions of domestic use and in accordance with its instructions for use and care. The guarantee applies from the date of purchase of the product and for its due claim it is essential to present the purchase receipt.

Usos y cuidados

Use: we recommend to always set the cooking temperature low to moderate and avoid overheating. Not only will you save energy but you will be taking good care of your utensil and achieving better results. Cooking gradually in a low heat setting will preserve the flavour and keep foods from burning or sticking.

Prevent food from sticking: we suggest adding a bit of oil, ghee, or some fat onto the surface before cooking. You can also use water instead to keep the pan slightly wet while using it.

Cleaning: Our ceramic cookware is dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand washing. Do NOT use an abrasive sponge to wash the bottom (external) of your ceramic cookware for induction cooktops. You could damage the layer that makes that possible and with time it would stop working.

Storage: When storing it, always put a towel or protector between one another to avoid nicking. It will also help, if needed, to absorb possible remains of water left after cleaning.
