Why is the anthracite saucepan Ø29,5cm made of stoneware ceramic?
Designed in Switzerland and handmade in Italy, the KUOKO ceramic casserole stands out for its lightness, easy handling, and easy to clean.
This casserole is in its purest state, made with only 100% natural ceramic, so it does not have a commercial non-stick coating. Still, it cooks very easily, smooth, and food will not stick onto it, just add a little bit of oil or fat before cooking and you’ll see! Once you start using it, you won’t want to part without it, it’s totally worth it!
You will also notice it in the taste. Ceramic is inert and does not react with your food, so the flavour of your food will not be altered by the material it is cooked in.
The lid is specially designed to achieve a moderate “rain” effect. The lumps inside serve so that, when the KUOKO casserole or cocotte is covered during the cooking, the condensation that may be generated will fall back onto the food, thus preventing it from drying out. This way, the meat, vegetables or whatever is being cooked will always be tender and juicy, maintaining and strengthening all its flavour!
You will save on energy! Ceramic, compared to other materials, has the ability to retain heat for a longer time, so it allows heating at a lower heat and even to finish cooking with the heat off.
Super versatile! You can use it wherever you want and whenever you want. To serve on the table, store food in the fridge or freezer, cook in the oven, ceramic hob, gas, induction, electric hob, on a barbecue, grill, or microwave.
Made in Italy
Material: Gres ceramic suitable for flame
The raw material for flame-safe stoneware has a special formula and it is fired at extremely high temperatures. The result is a much harder ceramic, resistant to thermal shock and durable. Which makes it an ideal material for cooking and to use in the kitchen.
At KUOKO we try to take care of the environment. The product will arrive packaged without any plastic in a recycled cardboard box and with 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable packaging chips that dissolve in water. Help us help the environment and make sure you recycle to give our packaging another life!
Ceramic utensils, as long as they are well cared for, will last a lifetime but, if you want to get rid of them, take them to your nearest green point.
